Otunba Bolaniran Adeyeye is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, business development and corporate leadership. With an academic background spanning philosophy, law, public administration and industrial relations, Otunba Adeyeye has built a diverse skill set that combines strategic thinking, legal expertise and business acumen.
He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Oil and Gas Law at the University of Lagos, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and industry specialization. In his professional career, Otunba Adeyeye has held key leadership roles, including serving as the Managing Director of Soka Petroleum Ltd since 1992, where he oversees operations in Nigeria’s petroleum sector.
He is also the Director of Optima Energy Resources Ltd, Vice Chairman of BBA Ventures Ltd and Vice Chairman of 1828 Farms Ltd, showcasing his versatility across energy, agriculture and business ventures. Additionally, as Chairman of 1828 Cashew, he has spearheaded initiatives in agribusiness and renewable energy resources.
A visionary leader, Otunba Adeyeye played a pivotal role in the establishment of NIPCO Nigeria PLC, collaborating with the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN). He was instrumental in securing ₦1.46 billion in funding to drive its acquisition, a testament to his ability to navigate complex financial and operational landscapes.
Beyond his professional achievements, Otunba Adeyeye is deeply committed to community service and leadership. As the 20th President of the Rotary Club, District 9130, and a traditional titleholder as the Maiyegun of Ede Land, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to social development and cultural heritage.
